More often than not, it’s the women who work hardest of all to budget the food they have, making sure the family gets a fair share. During lockdown, this has become more challenging than ever before and the decisions they’re having to make, are sobering indeed.
They have enough challenges to deal with, living on the frontline of climate change, now they’re mobilising vital aid to keep their communities fed and watered.
We’ll endeavour to deliver a message of hope in our overview of the lockdown, showing how it’s affecting the lives of the Mothers of the Forest and the nation.
There will be an opportunity for a Q&A session after the talk.
Don’t forget to claim your free ticket from Eventbrite, today.
