Thanks to one of our wonderful supporters who also has a mahoosive passion for vegan shoes, we have lots of brand new items of footwear, almost all unworn and they are all up for grabs.
The kind donor of the shoes is a big fan of vegan footwear, many are labelled as such either on the shoe or at the original point of sale. We’ve done our best to give you the spec from the original retail outlet too. It seems only one pair have been worn, but barely at all. We’ve taken photos of all the soles, so you can see for yourself. Almost all the shoes have the original tickets on the soles too, so you can see the purchase price.
The two pairs of gorgeous vegan boots are in their original Vegetarian Shoes box and they even have the paper stuffed in the fronts. The other shoes are unboxed.
We need to make this a great fundraiser for Word Forest and ideally, we’d love them to be picked up from our offices in Lyme Regis, so there are no postage costs, but if they need to go further afield, we’ll prepare them for the post and add P&P to the price. Throwing a wild guess in (and we would check of course) I imagine that’s going to be a maximum of around £5.00 a pair. If somebody buys more than one pair, it’ll undoubtedly be less, but it all starts by seeing who wants what!
The shoes have all been Covid-protocolled, sprayed with anti-bacterial spray with gloves and have not been touched. It’s easy to collect them from St Michael’s Business Centre in Lyme Regis, there is a large car park outside you can pull into, then telephone us and we can bring them out to you or your vehicle.
Times are unbelievably tough right now for charities everywhere and we would really like to hit the RRP of the shoes and boots, if at all possible. If you’d like to pay us more, you can wear the shoes and we’ll wear the biggest smiles!
It’ll be first come, first served and if they don’t sell at the full price, we’ll drop them until they go.
You are welcome to pop into the office to try them on but please bring gloves to do so.
It would be marvellous if you could pay us electronically straight into our bank account (we can chat about that in email) but for now, take a look at these gems and help us do what we do best: right now that is providing life saving food aid to our tree planters who are also kindly giving us tree planting pledges for once they’re out of lockdown – bless them all.
