‘And here it is…’ – yes, here is Christmas and, as we head towards the end of another extraordinary year, it’s the perfect time to stop and reflect. We continue to navigate through strange and difficult times but here at The Word Forest Organisation we are incredibly lucky – we have a team of exceptional staff and volunteers, in the UK and in Kenya, who continue to drive us forward with good humour, kindness, energy and determination. We are also extraordinarily fortunate to have some amazing corporate partners and many uncommonly kind and loyal supporters and donors who not only help us financially, but in so many other ways.
It’s difficult to find words to express just how grateful we are to every single one of you, but please know that we are. We really could not do what we do without each one of you lovely people. Asante sana – thank you very much – from the bottom of our hearts.
We’d like to wish everyone a peaceful and joyous time over the festive season. We’ll be taking a well-earned break between Christmas and New Year but we’ll be back in the office at the beginning of January, ready for another exciting year.
