We all love TV and streaming services, and the fact is that the quantity of films, series and documentaries grows by the day. There are so many that it’s easy for some of them, even the really brilliant ones, to get lost in the sea of content, or disappear almost completely.
We are delighted to present a series of short films and documentaries about trees, beautifully curated by one of our volunteer writers, Monica Mastrantonio. . Most of them are non-commercial, which is one of the reasons that they are not well known.. Each one gives a new perspective on why trees matter so much.
The Queen Of Trees
This documentary presents the amazing story of the sycamore fig in Africa – an extraordinary tree with an enormous variety of wildlife dependent upon it. A tale of intrigue and drama, set in the natural world.
