Our Life-Changing Piped Water Project

The success of our planting projects relies heavily on having a good availability to clean, fresh water.

It is needed to ensure the tree planting communities are well enough hydrated before they even pick up a tool to dig a hole. Additionally, every single sapling we plant needs H2O to ensure they nestle nicely to their new home.

Here in the UK, we don’t give much of a thought to our proximity to a tap. We know there’s one somewhere nearby and we’re fairly confident it will dispense however much water we need. We rather take it for granted that there will be a gush of the cool stuff but in Kenya – especially rural Kenya – it’s quite another story.

Read this sobering report from Charles Kidhuku and learn just what a difference our piped water project is going to have on a very isolated community in rural Kenya.

Water is life and trees are the key: ain’t that the truth.
