Welcome to another Trees Are The Key Awareness Week! We hope you’ll enjoy the content we’ve got lined up for you. It’s designed to help you form closer relationships with the beautiful trees in your favourite places and with the ones we’re planting 5,000 miles away in Kenya.
It’s International Day of Forests on the 21st March (Thursday) but we’re extending the arboreal festivities on either side. We believe that #TreesAreTheKey to doing so much more than relieving the symptoms of our climate crisis. They also have the power to uplift us and improve our physical and mental wellbeing.
Visit WordForest.org/week to explore everything we’ve got to offer this year, including ways to:
Inspire others by contributing to our word cloud, born from the words that come to your mind when you think about trees.
Share your top tips on how best to use tree-filled spaces to relax or focus your mind, or simply recharge your batteries and reboot your system.
Host a fundraising bring and share vegan lunch.
Chill out and enjoy our tree-based puzzles and of course, don’t forget to find a few minutes to read a new article each day through the week to stimulate your mind.
Thank you for joining us to celebrate all things tree.
