Environmentalists from our charity were excited to attend the UN global climate change conference, #COP26 in Glasgow for the first two weeks of November 2021. We delivered jargon-free daily updates from the conference and the fringe, to help our supporters and the general public understand the importance of this international climate conference. We all wanted to play our part in this critical #climatechange mission, starting with our ongoing work of planting and protecting trees in the tropics. Incidentally, we raised ring-fenced funds to attend and we are exceedingly grateful to our corporate partners for providing this.
 
Our remit was: 
 
(a) to create ‘jargon-free’ written and video reports on the climate news the media are covering and also the events and discussions they’re not – see our news below for details
(b) to host Word Forest public events on the fringe:
