Leave a Living, Breathing Legacy For Your Family & The Planet
Generosity from our supporters with legacy gifts will transform life for future generations.
We offer two will making alternatives
The Goodwill Partnership
The Goodwill Partnership is the largest distributor of home-visit solicitor-provided Wills in England and Wales. They guarantee the lowest price for a home-visit Will which is checked and provided direct to you by a panel firm of solicitors who can also provide legal advice and storage of your signed Will.
The process of making your Will is made extremely simple. There are no visits to the solicitor; their trained counsellor comes to your home to take your Will instructions at a time convenient to you, whether daytime, evenings or weekends.
They charge a low fixed price, however detailed your Will, wherever you live, with no hidden costs or upsell of any other products. Their home-visit service is free of charge and they also provide a small discount on a second Will for your spouse or partner.
Welcare Guardian, the administration company behind The Goodwill Partnership, has been proud to offer an outstanding ethical service, providing great savings to clients, since 1993.
Contact The Goodwill Partnership and arrange your solicitor visit.
Make a Will Online
We work with Make a Will Online to allow our supporters to make a FREE will. You can do this and pledge a gift at https://www.makeawillonline.co.uk/wordforest
Solicitors check every supporter will. Make a Will Online inform us when a gift has been pledged to us (including how much). We’d love to be able to say “thank you” too – we can do that if you agree to share your contact details.
About our online wills offer
We are told about gifts made using Make a Will Online’s charity system. We will pay for the wills. You can leave us a donation to cover the cost if you choose. If you want to leave a gift without us knowing about it then please visit this online wills page instead of using the link at the top of this block. However you choose to give, we are hugely grateful.
Alternatively: see your own solicitor
If you have a solicitor you can speak to them and ask them to update your will to include a gift to us. If you have a large or complicated estate or if you have complex needs – e.g. trust income, property overseas, or dependent relatives – you should also speak to a specialist solicitor. If you have concerns around your mental capacity you should discuss with a solicitor face-to-face. If your estate will be subject to inheritance tax (see here), you should also speak to a solicitor.
If you want to know how to contact a solicitor check with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
